about

lyrics

When time starts to thicken,
Skins harden, more lips get bitten.
When youth turns into manhood,
More intellectual gymnastics, less romantics,
Sycophantic’s on the TV sing and prance over earnestly.
Is it just me, or did things get real weird?
Feels like something just disappeared.

When you go blue,
That’s when you’ll feel the marmalade slow drip in you,
The first amongst unequals is the bluest of all blue.

When I was taking the overground,
From New Cross station to the centre of town,
I overheard this millennial girl, she said:
“You looked so beautiful in the computer glow, but I gotta go, my batteries are low”
Give the poor boy a chance!
A video for a second, her digitised pixel eyes looked dead inside.
Is it just me, or are things getting weird?
Feels like something just reappeared.

When you go blue,
That’s when you’ll feel the marmalade slow drip in you,
The first amongst unequals is the bluest of all blue.
